Randy Boyd
Randy has over twenty years of experience in implementing all aspects of Operational Excellence, specializing in services and transactional applications. He has a Master Degree from Texas A&M University in Health Administration (MPA). He served as a Sr. Partner for the George Group and most recently as the Global Research and Development Lead for Accenture's Process & Innovation Performance offerings. He is a Master Black Belt and also certified in the areas of Lean, Quality Function Deployment, and Process Re-engineering.
With early experience in organizational development and healthcare, he understands the connection between organizational culture and process execution issues. He is also experienced in driving cultural and organizational change through Organizational & Team Leadership development. His experience has helped to drive executional excellence to non-profit, services, and transactional environments through the application and deployment of Lean Six Sigma, Lean, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and Business Process Management.
Previous career and project highlights include:
- Randy has served as the Director of Quality Resources in a fully integrated healthcare system (hospital, clinic, insurance) leading them in the design and development of their quality initiatives. This led to well over $200 million in savings in their first few years of implementation and improved patient care
- Randy directed the design and implementation of one of the world's largest private construction firms involved in Civil Infrastructure, Mining & Metals, Power, Oil/Gas/Chemicals, and Government which has yielded over $1B in ROI (Return on Investment).
- Randy led the international deployment of Lean Six Sigma in the back office processes of the world's largest consulting firm leading to well over $200 million in ROI in the first few years of implementation.
- Randy supported the design and deployment of two US Government services leading to the removal of $5B in ROI over 6 years.
- He has personally trained hundreds of Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, Black Belts, and Master Black Belts and has specialized focus in the training and development of C-Level leadership in execution and deployment of Lean Six Sigma concepts.
