Charles is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with 3 decades of performance improvement experience in both transactional and manufacturing environments. Key Accomplishments
- Designed and led Lean Six Sigma Deployment for $2Billion high-tech manufacturing company operating in 6 countries, 3 continents. Trained 255 GBs, 116 BBs, Saved $27.4 Million over 3 years.
- Used DfLSS/QFD/Designed experiments, trained and coached client team coordinating design of next generation, complex (17 modules) surgical device using 5 outside design houses on very short timeline. Met all cost/performance goals, device introduced on time, reversed decline in market share, returned client to market leadership and profitability
- Led Operational Excellence program for utility company that resulted in >$22 million in savings and >20% increase in efficiency in OpEx, CapEx and Supply Chain Operations in first wave of projects.
- As MBB trained/coached/facilitated DFSS program to design and implement a Competitive Intelligence system and revise New Product Development for a life sciences company. C.I. System had 400% greater scope beyond traditional competitors plus more flexible ad hoc reporting capability.
